As a transformed and upgraded version of Famous Furniture Exhibition Fall Exhibition, DDW is an important initiative launched by the Famous Furniture Fair Committee for the "Design + Home Furnishing" strategy, and it is also a crucial springboard for Dongguan's home furnishings market to reach a new status.

Dongguan Furniture New Force Exhibition 2.0 is coming!
The Spring Dongguan Furniture New Force Exhibition is undoubtedly the inspiration of 2024 DDW. It was the first time to harness the power of excellent local emerging furniture brands in Dongguan. The highly anticipated Dongguan Furniture New Force Exhibition successfully created a dedicated Dongguan furniture IP in March this year, attracting over 2,000,000 exposures online.
In pursuit of more success, we’ll launch the Dongguan Furniture New Force Exhibition 2.0and introduce 4 major upgrades of 2024 DDW: refreshing exhibition hall designs, deepening brand IPs, upgrading communication strategies, and innovating event formats.
Establishing in the Great Bay Area, Constructing a Design Material Supply Chain
As a crucial base for the Great Bay Area's home furnishing industry, Dongguan not only possesses outstanding complete project implementation capabilities but also gathers leading comprehensive supply chain resources in the market. Building on the successful curation model of the Dongguan Furniture New Force Exhibition, it is decided to expand the exhibition area, adding a home furnishing supply chain section, with the new area located in Sections C and D of Hall 3, creating the Dongguan Furniture New Force Supply Chain Exhibition---a subsidiary exhibition of the main event.
To fully showcase the complete home furnishing market, this exhibition area actively engages supply chain partners from upstream to downstream in the comprehensive home furnishing market, displaying a variety of home materials such as furniture fabrics, hardware accessories, filling materials, engineered wood panels, imported timber, edge-banding profiles, unfinished furniture, coatings, decorative finishes, and innovative materials, making it a rare opportunity to present Dongguan's complete home furnishing supply chain in recent years.

World Class Furniture Industry Cluster Conference
The World Furniture Industry Cluster Conference will be held in Dongguan again in 2024, and the time will be the eve of the 2024 DDW (August 17).
At that time, lots of international guests, representatives of national ministries, government leaders and diplomatic envoys in China, designers and other a total of 400 or 500 people will attend the scene to participate in the industry event, aiming to strengthen international furniture industry exchanges and cooperation, promote industrial innovation and development, and help the prosperity and progress of the global furniture industry.

China National Furniture Association and Dongguan Municipal People's Government signed an agreement to jointly build the country's first world-class furniture industry cluster in Houjie, Dongguan, focusing on building 6 "world capitals" : industrial manufacturing, cluster demonstration, exhibition and trade, smart management, design innovation and cross-border e-commerce.

The 2023 World Furniture Federation Annual Meeting and the World Furniture Industry Cluster Conference were held in Dongguan, where industry leaders gathered to discuss win-win cooperation, guide the furniture industry to optimize the layout, promote regional coordinated development, and promote the formation of advanced manufacturing furniture industry clusters
On the basis of the previous, the conference will upgrade the content and deepen the meaning of "International Design" , promoting the first stage of the furniture industry cluster, International Design Innovation Exchange Center of the "Design Innovation Capital", and the construction process of the Modern Industrial Park of the "Industrial Manufacturing Capital".

Joint International Associations for Home Furnishing Abroad
2024 DDW to deepen communication and cooperation with domestic and overseas trade associations. In terms of overseas promotion of the exhibition, we continue to optimize the operation of overseas social media platforms, and have reached cooperation consensus with Vietnam International Furniture Fair and Malaysia Export Fair to jointly promote international exchanges and cooperation in the home industry.
In the field of global partner promotion, we actively establish close ties with international exhibition companies, commercial offices of embassies and consulates in China and overseas furniture associations, etc., and successfully facilitated the signing of strategic cooperation between Thailand Furniture Association and Dongguan Famous Furniture Association this year, achieving a new breakthrough in cross-border cooperation in the home industry.
At the same time, we has also successfully held a number of Sino-foreign trade cooperation exchange meetings, one-to-one supply and acquisition matching meetings and business matching meetings and other activities, to build new impetus for the expansion of enterprises and international channels.
Launch the Urban Co-creation Program-Strengthen Cooperation and Exchanges
Dongguan Designer Service Center (DDC) continues to build a diversified designer exchange salon platform, and the conversion rate of activities has reached more than 30%. And completed the establishment of in-depth cooperation with major industry associations across the country, such as Guangdong Association of Art and Decoration, Dongguan Interior Design Association, Foshan Interior Design Association and dozens of others.
From May to July, Dongguan Designer Service Center (DDC) opened a design exchange trip between East Guangdong Station (Shantou, Chaozhou, Jieyang Design Association) and West Guangdong Station (Maoming, Zhanjiang, Zhaoqing Industry Association) to prepare for the accurate invitation of the exhibition and achieve cooperation transformation in the future.
During this year's DDW, it is expected to attract representatives of 22 industry associations across the country and more than 400 designers from inside and outside Guangdong to participate, and conduct deep links with more than 20 home brands in the museum.
